Spontaneity in Marriage
Did my husband and I really go on an impromptu date yesterday? So I guess that counts as being spontaneous? The last time both of us went to the movies was about a year and a half ago when Kaitlyn was about 6 months old. The movie was shutter and it was a scary movies. I don't know what got into my husbands mind when he just asked if I wanted to watch a movie with him. At first I thought it was just watching upstairs in our bedroom when the kids have finally settle in for the night. I was mildly surprise that he wanted to take me out to the movies considering that we had a party yesterday to celebrate both his and Kaitlyn's birthday. We only had a couple of friends over and of course the Schifano Clan in full force. After all the guest left and Kaitlyn safely tucked in bed Ralph and I head out to catch a late night show. If your wondering MIL was home to watch Kaitlyn. Little did we know that when we left Kaitlyn woke up crying which prompter her Mima to go upstairs in her room to comfort the little one. We found out when we got there and called the house. If we hadn't bought the tickets for the show we would have left and gone straight home. I knew Kaitlyn was in safe hands to I was not worried about it. What I wanted was for Ralph and I to enjoy our night out and we did. Mima could not make her go back to sleep so Kaitlyn stayed up until we got home past midnight. She was so happy to see us home and did a little jumping and twirling around until she got dizzy. We both tucked her in and in less than 5 min. she was out like a light. Hubby and I are planning on going out again soon but this time its going to be my treat. What do you think we should watch Saw VI? or Law Abiding Citizen? It doesn't matter as long as I get to spend it alone with my husband plus the more than a handful of strangers in the movie house, lol...

FOOTBALL STADIUM / MONSTER TRUCK RALLY?
This blog has long been neglected and its time to dust off the virtual cobwebs. The past couple of months has just been difficult. I got swamped with things that I didn't know where to start anymore. I got burned out when it came to blogging in short I got very very lazy and that has got to stop. This blog is simply about being me. The woe's of a wife, mother, daughter, friend and life.
I'm going to start off with a show I saw last week with my MIL. Have you guys seen "how did they do that?" or something to that tittle in the science channel. It was about the cardinals football stadium. How engineers built this multi-million dollar football field that the bottom part of the field where the turf is can be moved out of the stadium itself. The cardinal football field on this show was to be turned into a monster race track in just 3 days. It boggles my mind how people spend millions of dollars on this kind of stuff when they could just build a simple place for a monster truck rally outside in the open field instead of having to transfer tons of dirt from one place to another and vice versa.. I mean where is the sense in that? I was totally at lost with it all. Sure sure the stadium is big, its great, it moves on wheels but is it worth it? In my opinion I think not.. I guess by now you can tell that I'm not a football fan. This is just my ranting and thought for the day....
